Established for over 17 years, Ocean Fish Bar is proud to be an independent, family run, fish & chip restaurant and takeaway.
Our menu features a variety of dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. From traditional fish & chips to homemade hearty pie, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
We also offer a selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options to accommodate all dietary needs.
Our restaurant can seat up to 130 people, we have full disabled access and we have a fully licensed bar.

Was recommended this place and we were not disappointed. The fish was freshly cooked to order and piping hot and the steak pie was delicious. Will Definately be back!
- I’ve had many exceptional meals, usually haddock, chips and mushy peas at the Ocean Bar with my wife for at least 20years. We went there for the second time this year one Saturday evening in March for fish and chips. The service was extremely quick, yet friendly and our meals were cooked to perfection. The fish was flakey with a light and crispy batter, the chips were slightly crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle and the mushy peas were very tasty indeed. The portions were ample without being overpowering. All as usual. Yummy! Other restaurants in the area serve excellent food too, but the Ocean Bar is the only one that I’ve found to be consistently excellent for many years. Highly recommended! The Ocean Bar even provide a small pair of scissors at every table so their customers no longer need to struggle to open those sauce sachets. How’s that for customer service!
Outstanding fish and chips with genuinely friendly and efficient service. The place was full tonight but the staff were coping brilliantly and were smiling throughout. Don’t get back to Cleethorpes much (grew up here) but have visited Ocean on last three trips. Thanks for a lovely night out with my mum.

Price: The prices at Ocean Fish Bar are very reasonable. We ordered two meals and a drink, and our total bill was only £22. First ever trip to this part of the UK so felt important to sample the fish & chips. After a detailed research process I determined that the Ocean Fish Bar & Restaurant looked the best option to visit. Wasn’t disappointed. Service excellent! Traditional old school, fish & chip restaurant! Food was amazing. I had the (Cod, skinned) chips & mushy peas - Absolutely outstanding! Worth making a reservation in advance. Just do it!
